Cactus Dome was built by Atomic Cleanup Veterans on the most radioactive island in the world.

The Cactus Dome Radiation Containment Structure on Runit Island at Enewetak Atoll contains 111,000 cubic yards of radioactive soils and debris from 43 atomic bomb tests.

  2. Hi all, hope your all doing well. I have watched alot of special reports on Enewetak Atoll and I spent about 1 year there in 1984. I see now and maybe it was noticed earlier that due to global warming water is penetrating cactus dome. Its been along time since I have posted and I was hoping to catch up if anyone cares to communicate.
